Jupura draws on the entrepreneurial foundation built by Judi Putra Negara Darmabasuan beginning in 1979. Its present chapter is led by Yan S.K. Darmabasuan, together with the teams, operating companies, and long-term partners expanding the group today.

Judi Putra Negara Darmabasuan began his first enterprise in 1979 from a nine-square-metre office in Jelambar, West Jakarta, with two employees. Through direct involvement in construction and property, he built the entrepreneurial foundation and practical experience behind Jupura's wider business story.
